IP Legislation
Legislation comprises a body of statutes, and in the UK it takes four major forms:
- Acts of Parliament;
- Delegated Legislation;
- Automonic Legislation; and
- European Legislation.
At present, the majority of rights which protect the various forms of intellectual property find their foundations within the legislation. This area of the ip4all website contains copies of all the pertinent statutes for your ease of reference.
These pages will be regularly updated with any new legislation which materially affects the day-to-day operation of micro, small or medium sized enterprises. Members of ip4all will also have access to detailed notes of advice, which will explain the impact of the new legislation upon the operation of its business, and make suggestions as to how best to deal with the implications of such legislation.
